How the Dyno Changed Activity Strollers
Renzo Romero
Director of Marketing
Before the Dyno, families had a choice: a 3-wheel activity stroller for everyday use, or a heavier wheelchair-style device for safe vehicle transport. There was no single product that did both. The Dyno changed that.
The engineering challenge was significant. Three-wheel strollers are inherently less stable than four-wheel designs, which makes WC19 crash certification harder to achieve. Our team had to rethink frame geometry, tie-down point placement, and structural reinforcement while keeping the weight at just 27 lbs and maintaining the maneuverability that makes 3-wheel designs desirable in the first place.
The ACTIVATOR Dynamic Seating system was another breakthrough. Traditional seating is static — the child sits in a fixed position. ACTIVATOR allows controlled movement within the seating system, encouraging active participation and providing sensory input. For children who benefit from movement, it's a meaningful quality-of-life improvement.
Every Dyno ships with a premium sunshade and storage bag included. We made that decision early on because we heard from families that accessory costs add up quickly. The basics should be standard, not upsold.
