The Story Behind the Reach

The Reach started with a simple observation: parents were exhausted. The strollers available to them were heavy, cumbersome, and difficult to transport. Families were making compromises — skipping outings, avoiding public transit, limiting their child's world — because the equipment was too much to handle.
We set out to build the lightest pediatric tilt-in-space stroller possible without sacrificing clinical functionality. The target was aggressive: under 26 lbs for the smallest frame size. Our engineers spent months refining the frame geometry, selecting materials, and eliminating every unnecessary gram.
The result is the Reach — starting at just 25 lbs in the 12" configuration. But light weight was only part of the equation. We built in 5" of seat depth adjustment and 4" of width adjustment so the Reach grows with the child. We included WC19 crash testing for transit safety. We designed the RESPOND contoured seating system for proper positioning support.
The Reach proves that lightweight and full-featured aren't mutually exclusive. Every ounce we removed was an ounce a parent doesn't have to lift into a car trunk, push up a ramp, or wrestle through a doorway. That's what drove every engineering decision.
